About the role

The Transport Driver safely provides transportation to patients and other personnel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle with full knowledge of its mechanical, electrical, and physical components
• Demonstrate proficiency in vehicle operation
• Navigate the service area efficiently to respond to calls within a reasonable time
• Maintain professional, non-defensive interactions with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors
• Keep the vehicle and its equipment clean and orderly, including washing and waxing as required
• Report any needed repairs, disabled vehicles, or regular maintenance to the supervisor
