Smokehouse Operator- 5pm start time

About the role

We are seeking highly responsible, motivated, and energetic individuals to join our team as Smokehouse Operators on the 3rd shift. This role involves working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within a cold (37°F) processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate a PLC electronic panel to control smokehouse procedures
• Transition product from floor to scales (recording weight) and into ovens
• Monitor process, perform temperature checks, and record data accurately
• Accurately maintain records of smokehouse settings, racks of meat, and other operational details
• Stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Adhere to all established safety policies and guidelines
• Work overtime as needed, including daily and weekends

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience navigating a PLC electronic panel
• Willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of smokehouse procedures
• Previous industrial, manufacturing, or processing experience preferred
• Pass substance/alcohol abuse tests and company physical
