Smog Inspector
Achieve Excellence in Customer Service
The Smog Inspector is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. This includes answering telephone calls, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring all services are delivered with high standards.
Conduct Applicable Tests and Inspections
This individual is responsible for performing state-specific tests and inspections according to California BAR regulations and the DEKRA standard. Compliance with these regulations is critical to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Manage Cash and Payments
- Effectively manage cash and non-cash payments received.
- Daily reconciliation of all payments received.
- Completing bank deposits.
Maintain Property, Grounds, and Equipment
- Maintain the property, grounds, and equipment at the station.
- Complete required tasks outlined in the daily checklists at your station.
Physical and Travel Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time.
- Requires use of hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning.
- No travel required for this position.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: $20.00/hour - $25.00/hour.
- Eligible for commission and monthly bonuses.
