Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a SME ServiceNow Developer in Herndon, Virginia. As a ServiceNow Developer (SME), you will design and develop applications software and systems in the ServiceNow Platform. You will collaborate with teammates in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems. You will determine computer user needs, analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls, design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications software and systems in the ServiceNow Platform
• Collaborate with teammates in the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems
• Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems
• Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
• Deliver enhanced functionality, aid with new implementations, and provide continuous support while preserving system integrity
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years' experience as a Software Developer
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering preferred
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR Module, CSM, Asset Management, Change Management, CMDB, and Service Status Portal
• Proven success developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications
• Database administration experience (Oracle or MySQL)
• Ability to estimate work effort requirements as part of an Agile Scrum team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability to a constantly changing environment
• Willingness to work with emerging technologies and tools

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly

Pay

The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $190,000 - $220,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
