Description
Prescient Edge is seeking a SME- Data Scientist to support a Federal Government client. The availability of this position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements
- Experience working with IT, business, or operational metrics platforms (e.g., Splunk, Elastic, Confluence, etc.).
- Certification in AWS (AI/ML specialty).
- Knowledge of the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) production chain.
- Experience working within a DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) operational environment and with DoD/IC geospatial data repositories.
- Familiarity with Army, DoD or IC GEOINT or Geospatial processes, policy and programs.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools to deliver reports, graphics and briefings.
Qualifications
- MA or MS from an accredited institution of higher learning in a STEM-related discipline AND 5 years of relevant experience.
- BA/BS degree in a STEM-related discipline AND 10 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Demonstrated mastery and employment of geographic and geospatial scientific principles, tools, and analytical techniques.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with data science techniques including (but not limited to) logistic regression, vector, natural language processing, principal component analysis, clustering techniques, neural networks, deep learning models, image recognition and algorithm employment or development in support of any of the foregoing.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with tabular analysis, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Julia, etc.) to deliver unique insights otherwise unobtainable.
- Familiarity with agile software development project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) to deliver new capability.
