SMD TW Test/Pack Operator

Job Summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a TW Test Pack Operator 1st Shift. (Monday – Thursday) from 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overtime is available as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Turns on packing machine.
• Places reels, cover tape and carrier tape on machine.
• Receives order form QC or Finished Good Stock.
• Set up computer to packing and testing specifications noted on production card.
• Set counters.
• Run out leader tape.
• Places resistors into syntron bowl (Test pack or Tokyo Weld machines) or load resistor sticks to table (stick to tape machines).
• Starts machine by pressing keyboard button.
• Operates machine until quantity desired is packed.
• Runs out carrier tape tail to wind around end of reel.
• Removes finished reel from machine.
• If order quantity required more than what is on reel, operator goes through previous procedures.
• Packages orders in bulk packaging where necessary.
• Prints PNID labels and bar code labels as required.

What You Will Bring Along

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One month to three months experience.
