About the role
Siemens is seeking rising engineering graduates for its SI EP Engineering Leadership Development Program. This two-year program includes four six-month rotations across multiple Siemens SI EP sites and engineering functions, starting in early July 2027.
Responsibilities
- Participate in four, six-month rotational assignments across key software engineering functions such as software design, development, and validation, as well as product lifecycle management
- Create and enhance smart and connected software solutions for next-generation electrical circuit protection, power distribution, and monitoring systems that power critical infrastructure worldwide
- Contribute new ideas and tackle complex engineering challenges through creative problem-solving, discovering the most effective and efficient solutions
- Collaborate across different teams and business areas, leveraging cross-functional perspectives and shared expertise to achieve project objectives and drive business results
Requirements
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering completed within one academic year of the program’s start date
- Available to start full-time employment in early July 2027
- Growth mindset, learning agility, and enthusiasm for developing new skills and interdisciplinary experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey strategic and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences – from colleagues to customers
- Demonstrated leadership potential and collaboration through experiences or activities that showcase initiative, responsibility, teamwork, and willingness to support peers
- Programming experience in C/C++, Python, and/or Java and experience with JavaScript/Node.js/React, JSON, and/or HTML/CSS
- Exposure to MATLAB/SIMULINK and embedded software
- Familiarity with software development and embedded systems or IoTM
- Must be willing and able to relocate domestically and/or internationally for each rotation and travel as required by the program (relocation assistance is provided if relocating more than 50 miles from your permanent address)
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to concepts or technology related to electrical power distribution/power management technology, energy systems, or the smart grid
- Preferred GPA: 3.0 or higher

$85,000 - $88,000
