About the Role

As a Smart Home Specialist, you turn every inquiry into a total technology solution for homes or businesses. From the first interaction to the final handshake, you build relationships with subscribers, ensuring they are perfectly equipped for the life they want to lead.

Responsibilities

• Act as a problem solver by asking thoughtful questions and recommending solutions that address the full scope of a subscriber’s needs.
• Position Jade as “Southern Colorado’s premier smart home provider” and deliver unparalleled, white-glove expertise.
• Prospect and develop new business through telephone marketing, lead follow-up, and personal outreach.
• Conduct deep-dive discovery with potential subscribers to uncover their real technology challenges.
• Map customer needs to comprehensive technology bundles (lifestyle plans, not just internet access) that solve their entire problem.
• Overcome objections by educating customers and guiding them toward the right solution, even if it’s not what they initially requested.
• Communicate the sold vision to Field Service and Customer Care teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Stay updated on system changes, market trends, and new products to provide the most valuable advice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in proactive sales or business development.
• Proven track record of overcoming objections and closing deals.
• Comfort with cold calling and prospecting.
• Technological literacy and the ability to understand how smart home technology connects and transforms a space.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a strong drive to solve problems.
• Comfortable pushing back respectfully to ensure subscribers get what they need, not just what they ask for.
• Ability to see a home or business as a puzzle and determine how technology pieces fit together.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build confidence in any audience.
• Organized, results-driven, and able to work with little to no supervision.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Pay

Base salary of $30,000 plus uncapped commissions.
