Small Group Training Instructor

Our gyms feature state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, exercise floors, full-service locker rooms with showers, women's only exercise areas, upright tanning booths, HydroMassage® beds, Eleiko deadlift platforms, PowerPlate, and an extensive schedule of small group and group fitness classes.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand and maintain Blue Moon Fitness standards and expectations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Blue Moon Fitness brand and model behavior in accordance with the mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.

Meetings

• Monthly or weekly department meetings
• Employee training meetings

Requirements

• Maintain valid AED/CPR Certification
• Certified to teach

Skills

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
• Strong customer service skills
• Good verbal communication
