Small Group Training Instructor

Our gyms feature state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment, exercise floors, full-service locker rooms with showers, women's-only exercise areas, upright tanning booths, HydroMassage® beds, Eleiko deadlift platforms, PowerPlate, and an extensive schedule of small group and group fitness classes.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications (e.g., AED/CPR).
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand and maintain Blue Moon Fitness standards and expectations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Blue Moon Fitness brand and model behavior in accordance with the mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• Maintain valid AED/CPR certification.
• Certified to teach exercise classes.

Skills

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication.

Meetings

• Monthly or weekly department meetings.
• Employee training meetings.

Reports to: Group Fitness Coordinator / Manager
