Small Equipment Operator

About the Role

Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc., a family-owned business with over 70 years of local operation, is seeking a full-time Small Equipment Operator at our recycling center. This position offers great opportunities for advancement, as we prioritize promoting from within.

Responsibilities

• Operate small equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, balers, etc.
• Stack and clean baled material
• Move material throughout the facility and empty full containers
• Perform general preventative maintenance on machines
• Perform other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to pass small equipment training and certification
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
