NY0705 NY Region Business Office, PA0445 Williamsport, PA0736 Administration Center Job Description The Small Business Loan Servicing Assistant Manager is responsible for the development and supervision of the Small Business Servicing team. Essential Functions Daily management of the small business loan servicing team members to ensure timely completion of all tasks/workflowsEnsure total document and data integrity attributes to comply with CECL data pointsOversee the monitoring and resolving of issues and establishing appropriate controls over the use of the core and ancillary systems to comply with audit requirementsAct as department’s technical liaison to develop, manage, and implement the ongoing design of operational, servicing and documentation procedures, methods and work systems; accountable for updates to established procedures according to the Bank’s established guidelinesPerform servicing responsibilities for complex deals in the absence of an experienced servicerLead and oversee activities related to loan servicing, documentation, post-closing, and monitoring tasksTrain new hires to ensure consistency & standardization in servicing small business loansPerform SOX testing as neededActively engage with Underwriters, Branch Managers and Business Bankers to collaboratively support a customer’s credit requestMeet or exceed established metrics for headcount, Service Level Agreements and efficiency; Manage, research and remediate inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers within established Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)Conduct, or participate in, the hiring, coaching, developing and supervising of team members; conducting one-on-one progress and coaching sessions as needed, and identifying and training team members that demonstrate high potential to ensure appropriate succession planningDocument and complete annual performance appraisals and performance management duties including, but not limited to, providing appropriate feedback and goal settingParticipate, as required, in the preparation of responses to examiners, auditors or internal auditReconcile General Ledger accountsEnsure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipment Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Finance preferred3 - 5 years Small Business loan or banking experience preferred2 - 6 years Supervisory experience (formal or informal) preferredKnowledge of appropriate loan support systemsAbility to maximize available technology toolsKnowledge of multiple entity types and structures of small business borrowers and loansAbility to have successful interactions with key strategic partners at a management levelAbility to have successful interactions with key strategic partners at a management levelAbility to have successful interactions with key strategic partners at a management levelKnowledge of small business loan products, credit policy, compliance and interpretation of legal and regulatory issuesKnowledge of organizational procedures, operations and applicable compliance rules and regulationsAbility to prioritize and make sound decisions while working on multiple tasks without compromising quality or increasing legal, operational or compliance risksEfficient communication, time management and organizational skills Travel Requirements As Needed For Training The pay range for this position is generally $70,000-$75,000 per year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and knowledge.
