Responsibilities
- Primary business development focus on low to mid-range small business clients through current clients, prospects, centers of influence, and referrals.
- Handle referrals from assigned Banking Centers and manage to annual sales targets for loans, deposits, and fees.
- Manage loan portfolio, including renewals and maturing loans, ensuring acceptable delinquency and credit quality levels.
- Align client and bank objectives, using a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional client service within loan standards, evaluating loan requests and facilitating the loan origination process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business-related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years banking experience, preferably with 1+ years in related work experience in consumer lending, commercial lending, or commercial loan support.
- Proven leadership experience, including prior management of relationship managers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Thorough knowledge of current loan standards, loan review administration, and banking/OCC procedures.
