About the role
A full-service, small-animal hospital that is privately owned is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their 3-doctor team in Harvey, LA.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of a wide range of small animal medical and surgical cases
- Collaboration with a skilled support team consisting of 4 technicians/assistants per doctor
- Working with an established client base
- Utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and services including in-house analyzers, IDEXX in-house lab, visual radiography, blood work analysis machines, dental care, radiology, paperless record keeping with NeoPractice system, anesthesia, and anesthesia monitoring
Requirements
- DVM / VMD from an accredited institution
- Louisiana State Veterinary License required
- 2+ years of experience practicing small animal medicine is preferred
- Proficiency in general practice soft tissue surgery is required

Pay
$100,000 - $135,000, commensurate with experience. Straight base salary or base + production (whatever is most meaningful!)
Schedule
Full-time schedule is preferred: 4 days/week including rotating Saturdays
