SM-3 FP&A Senior Analyst P3

About the role

The Finance organization at Raytheon plays a critical role in enabling program execution, driving financial stewardship, and supporting the delivery of mission critical capabilities. Senior Program Financial Analysts work across functions including Program Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Contracts to support financial excellence and disciplined execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and analyze program financial forecasts, including cost, schedule, labor, and material performance.
• Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Track and report financial metrics that measure program execution and overall financial health.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial cycles, including reporting packages and leadership updates.
• Analyze program events and quantify impacts to financial outlooks.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data, reporting, and documentation.
• Lead or support program financial reviews with cross-functional partners.
• Develop tools, process improvements, and reporting enhancements.
• Support stakeholders by clearly communicating financial information and recommendations.

Qualifications

• A typical requirement includes a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or financial systems.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.
