SLP - Speech Language Pathologist position at the Williamsburg Village facility

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Williamsburg Village in De Soto, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to residents as part of the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
