SLP (ESY + Leave Coverage Through Dec 2026)

Position Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct therapy and communication support to students participating in the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The SLP delivers both individual and group services, targeting communication skills that support daily living, academic engagement, and vocational readiness. Collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to this role.

Schedule & Program Dates

• ESY Program: June 29 – August 6, 2026
• ESY Schedule: Monday–Thursday
• ESY Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:45 PM
• School Year Start: August 18, 2026 (staff development days)
• School Year Schedule: Monday–Friday
• School Year Hours: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM
• Assignment Duration: Through late November / early December 2026

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active SLP License
• PDE certification
• Experience in an autistic support program preferred

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy to a caseload of ~16–18 students in alignment with IEP requirements
• Deliver scheduled therapy sessions and maintain accurate, ongoing session documentation
• Implement IEP goals and collect data to track student progress
• Collaborate with teams and families, including teachers, parents, and district partners
• Communicate with administration regarding program needs or concerns
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
• Participate in meetings and complete additional assigned duties
