Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service program with each patron and employee you come in contact with.
- Effectively respond to supervisor's requests in all areas of customer interaction and customer concerns.
- Comply with company policies, all state and federal regulations, and internal controls as it relates to this position.
- Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.
- Perform floor maintenance: troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and ATi Oasis system problems as they occur during gaming.
- Absorb and answer floor calls, assist Floor Supervisors with malfunctions, and assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines.
- Perform machine conversions: install kits in machine cabinets and computer processor boards, verify pay tables and reel stops.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Maintain adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs, order parts as needed, and check in incoming parts.
- Perform shop maintenance: troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards, test and adjust loaner units, reprogram progressives and messages, etc.
- Move slot machines from one location to another as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair Caribbean Stud tables and shuffling machines as needed.
- Respond to calls from the Table Games department for Caribbean Stud malfunctions.
Requirements
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
- One year of experience on slot machines and associated equipment.
- Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required (ex: board testers, multi-meters, o-scopes).
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills; fluency and literacy in English.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift and carry up to 120 lbs. and push or pull up to 200 lbs., and the ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
