About the role
The role involves applying electrical theory and related knowledge to test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain slot machines and related gaming components and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Performs all repairs and service requirements necessary for Slot machines and related gaming equipment
- Uses Project Worksheet for Installation, configuration, diagnostic testing, and final testing of all slot machines and associated equipment
- Removes and replaces failed replaceable units during installation and upgrades in accordance with the manufacturers Operation and Service Guide and department policies and procedures
- Installs and tests hardware upgrade kits in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Candidate must have electro-mechanical skills
- Effectively use manufacturer documents to troubleshoot and repair components such as Schematics, Principals of Operations Manuals, and Technical Manuals
- Candidate must display a constant commitment to excellence regardless of the task or responsibility
- High School diploma GED and technical training preferred, with a minimum of six months experience in the maintenance of Slot and Video Gaming machines required or completion of an accredited gaming technical school
- Candidate must be able to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures
- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
- Candidate must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities
- Must apply for, obtain and remain eligible for the appropriate Seminole Tribal Gaming License
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
