Slot Guest Service Representative - Maverick Casino & Hotel Elko

Essential Job Functions

• Safeguards company assets at all times.
• Circulates about the slot machine area assigned.
• Through teamwork in assigned areas, ensures good customer service and prompt response to customer needs at all times.
• Prepares or approves all slot payout vouchers for fills and jackpots.
• Affords assistance in resolving all customer disputes.
• Observes strict confidentiality in regards to company related matters.
• Makes minor repairs and adjustments to slot machines as needed.
• Cleans interior/exterior of slot machines.
• Answers customer complaints and questions regarding slot machines within his/her authority and ability to do so.

Qualifications

• Create a friendly atmosphere for guests and coworkers
• Be 21 years of age
• High School graduate or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and pleasant/clean appearance
• This position typically works various shifts, including weekend and holidays. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
• Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 40 lbs
