Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while monitoring assigned slot section(s)
- Proactively assist guests by responding to service lights, processing jackpots, redeeming ticket vouchers, and making minor machine repairs
- Refill printer vouchers, inspect for counterfeit currency, and enter jackpot data accurately into the computer system
- Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental procedures
- Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while resolving guest disputes and promoting special offers or property amenities
- Communicate effectively with team members via radio to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain an accurate assigned currency bank and follow all proper money-handling procedures
- Clock in and out as required by the company
- Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to detect and report any suspicious behavior or attempts to cheat
- Notify Slot Operations management of floor irregularities and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in a guest service or casino operations role preferred
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment
- Comfortable learning and retaining working knowledge of slot machines, payout procedures, and documentation requirements
- Experience handling cash and operating systems such as computers, radios, scanners, and adding machines
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Frequently push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Frequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer
- Frequently standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
