About the role
This is hands-on manufacturing: you’ll be on your feet, working with your hands in a dusty environment, and meeting high-quality aerospace production standards. Full training is provided; reliable daily attendance is required.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders to determine specifications such as materials, cutting lines, dimensions, and tolerances
- Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, or sand plastic material
- Test and adjust machine speeds or actions using gauges and hand tools
- Perform physical activities including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
- Measure parts before, during, and after production to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, or tape measures
- Place or remove parts from cutting tables manually or using hoists
- Replace defective blades or wheels using hand tools
- Mark, stack, and sort cut material for packaging, further processing, or shipping
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to advancing the company’s core mission, vision, and operational values
- Assist other departments to meet company goals as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in manufacturing (preferably aerospace or plastics)
- 5+ years of demonstrated work experience
- Ability to overcome obstacles with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Learn from failure and treat mistakes as learning moments
- Maintain excellent daily attendance and punctuality
- Collaborative, positive “can-do” attitude
- Adapt to change and remain calm during rapid workplace transitions
- Receive and interpret instructions from supervisors and peers

Physical Requirements
- Standing 8 hours per day
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Finger dexterity to make precisely coordinated movements
- Arm-hand steadiness while moving or holding your arm in one position
- Ability to work with or around chemical solvents
Schedule
- Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (primary hiring focus)
- Swing shift: $1.50 shift premium
- Overtime is optional and never mandatory
Pay
- Starting hourly wage: $23 – $27
- Cash bonuses paid 3 times per year
- Overtime opportunities increase bonus payouts and 401K contributions
- Total compensation can reach up to $100K per year
