Sleep Medicine - NP/PA - Full-Time

About the role

Atrium Health, one of the most comprehensive public, not-for-profit healthcare systems in the nation, is actively recruiting a nurse practitioner or physician assistant for Sleep Medicine at our Atrium Health Southpark location. This position will work closely with the current Sleep Medicine physician in the practice.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a medical history, physical exam, document findings and prepare a plan of care including prescribing medications and ordering appropriate tests/procedures.
• Attend, participate in and contribute to group/practice meetings, development of policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program
• Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
• Certification from a nationally recognized certifying body is required
• Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of PAs is required
• 1- 2 years of APP experience preferred (Sleep Medicine experience is ideal, but not required).
• North Carolina license, North Carolina DEA
