Responsibilities

• Available for emergencies and provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and Autism in a safe, supportive residential community home.
• Offer reassurance, safety, and peace of mind.
• Primarily needed on-site for emergencies or unexpected concerns.
• Support residents' well-being, safety, and comfort.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• TB test and physical
• Able to lift 50 pounds & assist with physical supports such as lifting, bending, standing, etc.

Qualifications

• Preferred, but not required: Experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism (IDD/A)
• Experience in direct care, caregiving, behavioral health, or healthcare

Skills

• None specifically listed, but strong communication and empathy skills are important.
