SLC -PRODUCTION CREW

About the Role

We're looking for production workers for our first (AM) and second (PM) shifts. You'll be involved in one of four positions: pump, raw, press, and precook.

Starting pay: $19.35 + $1 shift differential per hour.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper department procedures outlined in Daily's training manuals
• Understand bacon specification requirements to ensure quality
• Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Leads
• Follow Daily's attendance and punctuality rules
• Follow all Daily's food security guidelines
• Follow all Daily's Safety guidelines as outlined in the Safety Handbook
• Assist Department Supervisor, Production Lead, and Team Members in meeting production and quality requirements by:
  • Maintaining accurate counts
  • Adhering to product specifications
  • Working at a pace consistent with the required line speed
  • Keeping accurate records as needed
• Strict compliance with sanitation requirements
• Always minimize scrap
• Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed
• Keeping all scraps picked up from the floor in your work area
• Washing buildings and equipment as needed and scheduled
• Keeping all trash and items picked up
• Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift up to 75 pounds, and sometimes push and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, cold, wet, hot, and humid environment ranging from 48°F to over 100°F
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but sometimes very loud
• Previous production experience is preferred but not required
