Overview

We are seeking a Data Strategist to lead the development and evolution of enterprise data strategy and product roadmaps. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, helping organizations leverage data as a strategic asset to drive business value, improve decision-making, and achieve organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate combines business strategy, data and analytics expertise, and executive stakeholder engagement skills to define a future-state vision and create actionable roadmaps that align data investments with business outcomes. This individual will partner across business and technology teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and establish the capabilities required to enable a data-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data strategy roadmaps aligned to business goals and strategic priorities.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to define future-state data, analytics, and AI visions that support organizational growth and transformation.
• Serve as the primary advisor on how data can be leveraged to create measurable business value, improve operational efficiency, and enable strategic decision-making.
• Identify and prioritize data initiatives based on business impact, organizational readiness, risk, and investment value.
• Facilitate strategy workshops, stakeholder interviews, and leadership discussions to gather requirements, align priorities, and build consensus.
• Assess current-state data capabilities, operating models, governance practices, and technology landscapes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with business, data, architecture, and technology teams to define future-state capabilities and supporting operating models.
• Establish frameworks for evaluating and tracking value realization from data investments and strategic initiatives.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, business cases, and recommendations for roadmap investments and sequencing.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of strategic data initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data strategy, management consulting, business transformation, analytics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise data strategies, roadmaps, or operating models.
• Strong understanding of data management, analytics, governance, data platforms, and modern data ecosystems.
• Experience partnering with executive leaders to define business strategy and translate objectives into actionable data initiatives.
• Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and influence decision-making across diverse groups.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data initiatives to financial, operational, and customer outcomes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide data modernization, governance, analytics, or AI strategy initiatives.
