Head of Procurement

Handle end-to-end procurement for Solar projects, including sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring they meet agreed terms and standards.
Prepare and manage contracts, SLAs, and purchase orders.
Identify backup suppliers and create contingency plans to avoid project delays.
Track procurement activities in line with project timelines and milestones.
Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and on-site teams to confirm requirements and timelines.
Monitor order progress, shipping, and deliveries using ERP or project management tools.
Hold regular coordination meetings to share updates and resolve issues.
Align material and resource availability with project phases and site requirements.
Review project scope to forecast material and manpower needs.
Allocate resources across multiple projects based on priorities and timelines.
Develop and manage procurement budgets for assigned projects.
Control spending and ensure costs stay within approved limits.
Track budget vs. actuals and report variances.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Control Systems Design Engineer

Develop and simulate plant models and discrete-time controllers (sampling effects, computation delay, anti-windup, saturations, etc.).
Design and tune digital control loops for power conversion stages (current/voltage loops; inner/outer loop structures).
Implement control strategies for different converter stages.
Analyze stability and performance (bandwidth, gain/phase margin, step response, disturbance rejection, noise sensitivity).
Support firmware integration: define controller structures, parameters, timing, and interface requirements.
Validate performance on hardware: bring-up, instrument measurements, loop tuning, and systematic debugging.
Design and verify protection and fault-handling behaviors.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Procurement or Engineering.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in the solar power sector.
Prior exposure to solar installations or the renewable energy sector is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

Experience in designing and tuning digital control loops (discretization, sampling, delay, quantization).
Grid-tied inverter control (PLL, dq/αβ current control, harmonic mitigation).
Embedded implementation experience (C/C++ code generation for target DSP, code optimization for embedded application, fixed-point implementation).
Automation experience (HIL, scripting for sweeps, regression testing).
