Skin Shop Staff

About the role

Join our production team in the Skin Department at our plant in Kingman, Arizona. The Skin Staff supports valued customers by contributing to the high-quality construction process of Interstate Trailers.

Responsibilities

• Receive trailer frames from the Wood shop and review accompanying build orders.
• Attach sheet metal fenders and wall trim using appropriate tools.
• Attach aluminum sheets, specialized tapes, and caulk to quality specifications, verifying proper fit.
• Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior, then apply silicone caulking and appropriate decals.
• Hook up and test all electrical lighting.
• After training, demonstrate a consistently safe, efficient, and accurate work environment.
• Ensure all finished work production meets high quality control standards.
• Learn and become proficient in other production roles to support the entire production team as needed.

• Some welding experience preferred, but training will be provided.
• Mechanical ability to work with power tools and yard vehicles.
• A team mindset, willing to help out and improve wherever needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with power tools and yard vehicles.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Skills

• Attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Pay

Capable Skin staff in Kingman can earn over $18 per hour with our group rate incentives.

Schedule

A 4-day work schedule that allows for more personal time.
