Job Description

We are looking for skilled craft professionals to join our team at the New Lock at the Soo Project located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This critical infrastructure project presents a great opportunity for experienced tradespeople to contribute to a major construction effort while advancing their careers in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Summary

This project is valued at over $1 billion and is scheduled to complete in 2029. It involves working with the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

Qualifications

• An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in heavy civil and industrial work.
• Rigging and signaling certifications and experience a plus.
• Team Members are required to obtain an OSHA 10 hour at a minimum.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
• Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Work environment is usually moderate, occasionally loud.
