Skilled Production Operator - Green Bay, WI
General Mills is expanding its capacity for Fruit brands (Gusher and Fruit by the Foot) to meet growing consumer demand. This role involves production, warehouse, and facility sanitation leadership, supporting various operations including packaging and processing.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality foods consumed nationwide every day
• Utilize technology in a leading industry facility
• Work with experienced teams to pass down knowledge
• Challenge yourself to ensure jobs are done right and gain valuable skills
• Perform production duties in mixing, packing, freezer operations, and minor ingredients areas
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Calibrate processing and packaging systems
• Clean, inspect, and operate equipment according to SSOPs and procedures
• Maintain control and accountability for equipment, tools, and work area resources

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous industrial and/or food manufacturing sanitation experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
• Minimum of 3 years sanitation experience
• Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, climb, bend, push/pull, twist, wear protective clothing and equipment, work in hot/cold/dusty/noisy/wet conditions, work around industrial machinery, adhere to grooming requirements, and work with allergens

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to learn new systems (RF scanners)
• Operate forklifts or electric pallet jacks
• Willingness to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery

Pay and Schedule

• $21.32 per hour
• Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift
• Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift

Schedule

• Shift Hours: 3rd SHIFT 8-hour shifts
• Available shifts: 5:45am – 2:00pm or 6:15am – 2:30pm, 1:45pm – 10:00pm or 2:15pm – 10:30pm, 9:45am to 6:00am or 10:16pm – 6:30am
• Saturday and Sunday are part of the required work schedule with 1 to 2 days off during the week
