Skilled Mechanic Specialist

Essential Job Functions

• Complete maintenance related tasks as assigned by the Maintenance supervisor on shift
• Respond to emergency “break down” calls, make needed repairs as quickly as possible while maintaining a safe work environment
• Complete Preventive Maintenance (PM’s) on production and facility equipment
• Trouble shoot all issues, make needed repairs and establish root cause
• Present findings from root cause and discuss future corrective actions needed, with Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements

• Educational: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in a technical/industrial discipline or accredited institution, preferred
• Experience: 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent required, 3+ preferred

Other Requirements

• Punctual and consistent attendance required
• Able to work beyond required scheduled hours as needed
• Works in a safe manner and in compliance with EHS policies and procedures
• Able to work independently or in a team setting
