Skilled Laborer
About The Role
We are adding Skilled Laborers to support field operations on water and wastewater construction projects. This role is responsible for assisting skilled trades with a variety of construction tasks, including pipe installation, concrete work, excavation, and general site support. This position is ideal for individuals with construction experience who are motivated, dependable, and willing to work in a hands-on field environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with rigging and handling of materials and equipment
- Support installation of piping systems including ductile iron, PVC, copper, and steel
- Auxiliary pipe testing and layout activities
- Support formwork construction, rebar placement, and concrete pouring and finishing
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks as needed
- Auxiliary excavation, backfill, and site preparation
- Operate basic equipment such as forklifts, small backhoes, and aerial lifts
- Auxiliary demolition and site cleanup activities
- Unload, organize, and store materials on site
- Work alongside skilled trades to support daily field operations
- Follow all safety procedures and jobsite expectations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of construction experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor construction environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
- Successful completion of drug screen, physical, and background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in water or wastewater construction
- Experience working with pipe installation, concrete, and excavation
- Familiarity with basic construction equipment and tools
- Willingness to travel as needed for projects

Physical Requirements

- Ability to bend, squat, and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
Shift Schedule
A full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, with start times based on jobsite needs. Overtime and weekend work may be required depending on project demands.
