Skilled Construction Tradesperson

About the role

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to supervise a team in carpentry, plumbing, roofing, and drywall installation on sites affected by water, fire, and smoke damage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of the team assigned to the project
• Diagnose and perform plumbing repairs and installations
• Ensure the work area remains stocked with materials
• Delegate other duties as needed
• Participate in emergency response efforts when required
• Perform sheetrock installation and repair, texturing, painting, and trim work
• Install cabinets, baseboards, casing, interior doors, and related finish carpentry
• Handle framing, structural carpentry, and finish carpentry
• Safely and effectively use power tools including saws, drills, and nail guns
• Conduct demolition and project clean-up
• Perform property board-up (preferred)

Requirements

• Team leadership skills
• Knowledge of construction materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with sheetrock installation and repair
• Experience with cabinet installation and repair
• Ability to perform framing, structural carpentry, and finish carpentry (preferred)
• Experience installing baseboards, casing, interior doors, and related finish carpentry
• Proficiency in safely and effectively using power tools including saws, drills, and nail guns
• 2+ years of plumbing experience (licensed preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (DOT Certified preferred)
• Commitment to following OSHA, company safety rules and regulations (OSHA 10/30 Certified preferred)
• Strong verbal and basic digital communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
