Skilled Carpenter/Remodeler

Bedford Builders Remodeling, LLC seeks career-oriented skilled carpenters to join our growing team of professional remodelers. Positions involve carpentry work on mostly residential remodeling and renovation jobs throughout Rhode Island and Greater Seekonk, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Perform finish carpentry on residential remodeling and renovation projects
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness of worksites
• Problem-solving and adherence to contract language (Lead Carpenters)
• Supervise crews and enforce safety protocols (Lead Carpenters)
• Understand and interpret construction plans (Lead Carpenters)
• Assist with job cost tracking and code compliance (Lead Carpenters)

Requirements

• Three years of documentable remodeling experience (minimum)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Reliable vehicle (enclosed work vehicle required for Lead Carpenters)
• Own hand and power tools
• Personal and work-related references
• Non-smoking, organized, and presentable

Qualifications for Lead Carpenters

• Estimating skills and understanding of construction plans
• Excellent credit and computer skills (typing a plus)
• Experience supervising crews successfully
• Finish carpentry supervision experience
• Highly organized with familiarity in job cost tracking
• Code-compliant background (Unrestricted CSL a plus)
• Exceptional communication and problem-resolution skills

Pay

$19–35/hour (weekly direct deposit), with an annual range of $37,440–$72,800.

Schedule

Full-time (Monday–Friday), 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Willingness to travel 75% required.
