Skilled Carpenter

About the role

M.A. Restoration is seeking a Skilled Carpenter to lead job sites, manage crews, and deliver quality work on time and within budget. Based in Westborough, MA, we specialize in residential and commercial restoration, remodeling, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day job site operations including scheduling, field oversight, and trade coordination
• Perform hands-on carpentry tasks such as framing, crown molding, door/window casing, baseboards, fixtures, and hardware
• Rough frame walls, ceilings, and roofs
• Repair or replace patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances
• Handle necessary demolition to prepare for repairs
• Read plans and follow scopes of work accurately
• Work with the Project Management team to solve problems and maintain schedules
• Keep job sites safe and compliant (signage, OSHA basics)

Requirements

• 5+ years of carpentry experience in remodeling
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Knowledge of residential and commercial building codes
• Experience with detailed, complex projects
• Ability to lead, communicate, and report progress clearly
• Willingness to learn basic job tracking software
