SkillBridge: Production Control Warehouse Specialist
Role Overview
We're looking for a SkllBridge: Production Control Warehouse Specialist to keep material flowing accurately and on schedule between our warehouse and the production line as we ramp up Viceroy and Squire manufacturing. You'll be the trusted link between Production Control, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain — making sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. If you’re energized by working at the intersection of cutting-edge innovation, real-world impact, and hands-on engineering, you’ll be in the right place - and we’d be thrilled to have you on the team!
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a Skillbridge Internship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be eligible to participate in an Internship per DoD Instruction 1322.29
- Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date
- Must receive approval from the Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command
- Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location
What You'll Do
- Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials, verifying quantity, condition, and documentation against purchase orders.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, promptly researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Build and stage kits against bills of material (BOMs) and work orders, and deliver them to assembly stations on schedule.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely within warehouse and production areas.
- Maintain lot/serial traceability and documentation for flight-critical and export-controlled hardware.
- Support daily production control stand-ups with real-time shortage and WIP status.
- Keep warehouse areas organized, labeled, and audit-ready in line with 5S and AS9100 practices.
What You'll Bring
- Warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, marine, or DoD logistics environment.
- Working knowledge of ERP/WMS inventory transactions and comfort with Excel and RF scanning tools.
- Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain it quickly.
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of ownership over inventory accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in an active shop-floor environment.
- Eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR.
Bonus Experience
- Aerospace, marine, or defense manufacturing background.
- Lean/5S or continuous improvement experience.
- Military logistics or supply background — this role is SkillBridge-eligible.
