Position Summary

Steamboat SnowSports School is looking for both certified and non-certified Alpine SnowSports School Ski instructors for the 2026-27 winter season. If you want to give world-class guest service on our Champagne Powder® snow, please apply today!

Required Qualifications

• Previous instruction, teaching or coaching experience of any sport preferred
• Adhere to all safety policies
• Maintain a neat appearance in conformance with department and company standards
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with SSRC Service Excellence standards

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5-day new hire training clinic hosted by SnowSports School is REQUIRED
• Ongoing in-house training (as required)
• Teaching experience preferred
• Bilingual applicants welcomed

Physical Requirements

• Must be a minimum 18 years of age
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions while wearing ski and snowboard gear, including, boots, helmet, goggles, ski/snowboards, etc.
• May include working outdoors for consecutive days
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, may include wiggly or squirmy students in motion
• Be able to assist in lifting students to an upright position from the ground
• Clearly communicate verbally in the English language
