Revit Importer

SketchUp 2023 integrates Revit Importer as part of the SketchUp Studio subscription, allowing users to import Revit files directly into SketchUp. This feature bridges workflows between SketchUp and Revit, enabling seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders throughout the design process.

• Convert Revit models into SketchUp geometry with precision, preserving model structures such as families and categories as groups, components, and tags.
• Reduce file size for easier manipulation of imported Revit geometry in SketchUp.
• Import Revit material colors and transparency settings to accelerate visualization workflows.
• Available to SketchUp Studio subscribers; SketchUp Pro users can trial the feature in the 2023 update without purchasing a separate Revit license.

New Features and Improvements for Desktop

• Flip Tool: Mirror design elements to create symmetrical details or arrange objects on surfaces, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
