About the role

The Agriculture Department, Government of the Punjab, is seeking a skilled Cameraman to capture high-quality video content for departmental projects, documentation, and promotional material.

Responsibilities

• Operate professional video cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to record agricultural activities, events, and interviews.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and other team members to plan and execute video shoots.
• Ensure technical quality of footage, including focus, exposure, color balance, and audio levels.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software.
• Maintain and manage video equipment, including troubleshooting technical issues.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver final video content as scheduled.
• Travel to various locations within Punjab to cover field activities and events.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cameraman, preferably in documentary, news, or government projects.
• Proficiency in operating professional video cameras (e.g., Canon C300, Sony FS7) and related equipment.
• Strong understanding of lighting techniques, composition, and framing.
• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and adapt to changing conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
