Site Surveyor, Residential Energy Operations

What To Expect

The Site Surveyor will join Tesla’s Energy Operations team. They will collaborate with other team members to complete site surveys for residential photovoltaic solar systems, battery storage, and EV wall connectors. This role requires safety, reliability, and willingness to assist with various tasks.

What You'll Do

• Assess job site conditions upon arrival
• Measure roof planes, vents, dormers, and chimneys
• Measure and access attic structures and conditions
• Capture shade readings
• Draw, document, and photograph roofs, attics, and sites
• Upload site assessment documentation into cloud storage with company software
• Perform other tasks and duties as required

What You'll Bring

• Experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools, ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment
• Strong customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
