The Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Surveyor to join our WPS Planned Works team in Carlise to work on a current SHF Wave 3 Retrofit Scheme. You will play a key role in commercially managing works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to WPS' high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing planned works across social housing contracts focusing on cost control
• Producing and submitting monthly cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and progress reports
• Procurement, managing subcontractors, producing external valuations and cash flows
• Working closely with Commercial Managers on budgets, profit plans and final accounts
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards and Wates processes
• Attending monthly client progress meetings (both in person and on-line)
• Building strong relationships with clients, residents, subcontractors and internal teams
• Supporting continuous improvement and high standards of customer satisfaction

About You

• BSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
• Housing Association / Social Housing experience including SHF retrofitting works highly desirable
• Strong commercial and financial understanding (cost control, valuations, cash flow)
• Experience of managing projects and subcontractors on site
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills and well versed in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Full UK driving licence
