About the role

As the Site Supervisor for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program at Montefiore Medical Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and effectiveness of our WIC services. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily activities at the WIC site, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines and regulations. You will provide leadership and support to WIC staff, foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and work closely with program administrators to optimize service delivery and client satisfaction. Your dedication to promoting maternal and child health, coupled with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, will be essential in driving the success of our WIC program.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the WIC Site in accordance with the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and Montefiore.
• Supervises the WIC staff at the agency’s site.
• Reports directly to the WIC Program Coordinator/Director.
• Applies the rules and regulations of the USDA, the NYSDOH, and Montefiore Medical Group.
• Ensures adherence to all regulations of confidentiality and patient safety as required by federal HIPAA regulations, USDA, the NYSDOH, and Montefiore.
• Ensures that the WIC Program staff at the site adhere to all safety, health code, and dress code rules and regulations.
• Responsible for the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement of the WIC site.
• Adheres to the WIC Program Local Agency Compliance and Self-Assessment as required by the NYSDOH.
• Implements, supervises, and updates WIC site staff on policies, procedures, goals, objectives, and services as needed.
• Supervises training and education of newly hired WIC staff.
• Required to complete at least 24 hours of continuing education every three years.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
• 7.5 scheduled daily hours.

Pay

$68,800.00 – $86,000.00 per year.
