Site Supervisor - Civil Works, Energy and Infrastructure Projects (US Site Locations)
About the role
As a Site Supervisor - Civil Works for Linxon, you play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex civil scope works by taking full ownership of on-site execution from initial mobilization through final acceptance. You are the front-line authority responsible for converting engineering intent into correctly built assets, ensuring schedule adherence, cost control through right-first-time execution, and elimination of rework. Acting firmly on behalf of Linxon, you lead daily construction activities, directly instruct contractors, enforce quality and compliance in real time, and resolve execution issues as they occur. Your impact is measured by safe, compliant, and high-quality civil works delivered on schedule, with disciplined workmanship, complete documentation, and full alignment with approved designs, standards, and Linxon's Quality Management System.
Responsibilities
- Direct and instruct contractor crews daily on the exact scope of work, execution methods, sequencing, and required quality standards
- Translate approved drawings, method statements, and look-ahead schedules into clear, actionable daily work plans
- Ensure contractors fully understand drawings, tolerances, materials, workmanship, and interface requirements before execution
- Cook up manpower, equipment, materials, formwork, embeds, and work fronts to ensure full readiness prior to start of work
- Monitor civil works continuously throughout the day and immediately correct deviations from approved plans or methods
- Perform active quality control during execution, not only at completion, to prevent defects and rework
- Complete and maintain all required daily quality documentation, including inspection checklists, ITP records, site reports, and verification of completed works
- Identify non-conformities early, enforce immediate corrective actions, and support timely NCR closure
- Train and coach contractors on correct construction methods, LINXON quality expectations, civil codes, and professional site discipline
- Enforce compliance with approved drawings, revisions, civil standards, and the LINXON Quality Management System
- Stop work when quality, execution, or compliance requirements are not met and ensure safe execution in coordination with HSE
- Cook up daily with Construction Management, Engineering, and Quality teams and provide accurate progress and quality status updates
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and monthly quality reviews
