Part -time- Seasonal position with potential for summer hours
Compensation: $24
Days Monday - Friday (Late August - Mid June)
Hours: 7-8:30 am and 2:30-6 pm
Flexibility with days and morning and afternoon shifts.
What You'll Do

- Site Management
- Program Operations
- Staffing & Supervisory
- Program Liaison
Requirements
- Education: 12 credits in ECE or higher, Degree in ECE or related field.
- Experience: Meet requirements to be certified as a Head Teacher through the State of Connecticut, Connecticut Charts-A-Course www.ctcharts.org;
- Demonstrated ability to develop age-appropriate exhibits and activities for the classroom;
- Basic knowledge of the principles of child development;
- 21 years of age or older; and
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within two (2) months of employment.
Schedule
This position is an hourly, non-exempt position. Standard hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 6:45 am – 8:30 am and 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm. The work schedule and hours will be defined by the Department Head or direct supervisor. Due to the nature of the work, some weekend and evening hours may be required.
