About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee field operations at project sites throughout the country. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing personnel, coordinating daily site activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the aggregate and mining industries and the ability to lead crews in a fast-paced field environment. This position requires someone who is comfortable being on-site, solving problems, communicating with project leadership, and keeping work moving forward. This is a traveling role; out of state and local applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at assigned project sites.
• Supervise and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and crews.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and daily work activities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Department Managers, and customers to ensure project schedules and expectations are met.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates, delays, and concerns to management.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Enforce company safety policies and job-site requirements.
• Conduct or participate in daily job-site meetings and safety discussions.
• Read and understand project plans, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Identify potential problems in the field and work with management to develop solutions.
• Coordinate multiple trades and crews working on-site.
• Track labor, equipment, materials, and overall site progress.
• Maintain a professional relationship with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and employees.
• Ensure job sites are organized, productive, and maintained in a safe condition.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and manpower needs.
• Travel extensively to project sites throughout the United States.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, General Foreman, Project Foreman, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of the aggregate, mining, heavy industrial, and/or construction industries.
• Experience overseeing and managing field personnel.
• Strong understanding of construction and industrial job-site operations.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the United States.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and varying schedules as required by project needs.
