Site Safety Manager
The Wesson Group, LLC is growing and seeks a motivated individual to join our team. With over four decades of experience, we deliver heavy civil and renewable energy design-build excellence. We specialize in sustainable solutions for wind, solar, marine, infrastructure, heavy civil, and transportation projects. Based in Johnstown, NY, our work spans Western, Central, and Northern NY.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Preview projects and sites before work begins to identify safety-related risks.
- Assess ongoing work conditions at the site to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Work with project management and field staff to develop and implement solutions for safety issues.
- Maintain safety-related paperwork and certifications.
- Train company employees in safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety practices and protocols for employees and subcontractors.
Skills & Qualifications
- CHST Certification (or willingness to take the exam).
- CSP Certification preferred.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to listen and provide constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations relevant to the specific trade or activity.
- Good recordkeeping abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000
