Site Safety Coordinator (Carlisle, PA) - Immediate Hire

Job responsibilities and duties

• Aids in training employees in workplace safety guidelines.
• Captures and reports accidents for the company.
• Investigates and rectifies specific safety infractions at job sites.
• Conducts and documents safety observations, inspects company property and construction sites, and periodically inspects company vehicles.
• Collaborates with Project Managers and Field Personnel to address safety concerns.
• Maintains adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) levels for project/site locations.
• Determines necessary PPE and training for workers as needed.
• Develops and conducts site-specific toolbox talks and daily safety plans.
• Promotes zero incidents through an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture.
• Participates in Safety Committee meetings.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or Safety.
• Obtained OSHA 30 certification within 30 days.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to maintain a balance between teamwork and compliance with safety issues.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to deal with intense situations in a professional manner.
• Excellent customer service skills.
