Site Safety Coordinator

About the Role

This role will provide safety support and information to the employees at the site. The Safety Coordinator will identify safety training needs, coordinate safety training programs, and monitor, develop, and review safety goals for the site.

Responsibilities

• Update the safety board on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Print and post Pre-Shift Notes weekly.
• Post BLS data and safety recap weekly.
• Track and report all safety numbers with relevance to the weekly safety call report.
• Facilitate monthly audits on fire extinguishers and facility inspections.
• Send the daily “Days Safe” email.
• Lead the safety committee – ensure minutes are recorded and posted.
• Track and reward safety winners.
• Collect the hearing conversation logs weekly and file.
• Ensure all safety posters are updated around the facility.
• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2+ years warehouse experience, preferred.

Pay

$23.60 per hour.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM.
