Site Resource Manager, Network USA

As Site Resource Manager, Network USA, you will lead a team of site professionals supporting the successful delivery of power generation projects worldwide. You will play a key role in resource planning, people leadership, safety, competence development, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with project management and delivery teams. This position offers an opportunity to work in a global, multicultural environment and contribute to the successful execution of complex energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Wärtsilä’s construction and commissioning services resource hub in the US.
• Lead a team of construction and commissioning professionals.
• Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and utilization to support project delivery objectives.
• Perform line management responsibilities, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.
• Support onboarding, site mobilization, and assignment planning for team members.
• Coordinate travel, work authorization, visa, and compliance requirements for international assignments.
• Collaborate with project management and delivery teams to ensure project staffing needs are met.
• Drive technical competency development and succession planning within the team.
• Support recruitment activities and workforce growth initiatives.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Wärtsilä QEHS standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the organization.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Live Wärtsilä's values and promote collaboration, accountability, and customer success.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in construction, commissioning, project execution, field services, power generation, energy, industrial, or related industries.
• Experience: 3+ years of people leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and performance development.
• Experience in workforce planning, resource management, and capacity allocation.
• Strong understanding of construction and commissioning activities within power generation, EPC, industrial, or energy projects.
• Experience supporting global or multi-site project organizations is considered an advantage.
