About the Role
In this contingent resource assignment, you will participate in moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering initiatives supporting Small Business Lending and Deposit platforms. This role focuses on production engineering, site reliability, application support, platform modernization, observability, automation, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will support critical digital banking and lending applications while helping modernize environments migrating to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Top Requirements
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience including monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident response
- Salesforce platform support and administration experience
- Automation and scripting skills (Python, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting)
- Cloud, OpenShift, containerization, and platform engineering experience
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or AppDynamics
Responsibilities
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Support production health, stability, and platform reliability
- Monitor enterprise applications and infrastructure
- Develop and improve alerting strategies and operational dashboards
- Build observability solutions and performance metrics
- Drive improvements in uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Participate in incident response and service restoration activities
Production Support & Operations
- Participate in daily production support standups
- Review offshore support handoffs and operational updates
- Investigate production incidents, alerts, and application failures
- Manage support tickets and operational escalations
- Support application deployments and infrastructure changes
- Coordinate with engineering and business teams during critical incidents
Salesforce Platform Support
- Support Salesforce-based applications and platform operations
- Troubleshoot application issues, integrations, workflows, APIs, and platform configurations
- Support Salesforce deployment and release activities
- Assist with platform support and production stability initiatives
- Apply Salesforce security and governance standards
Monitoring & Observability
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards
- Develop operational reporting and alerting capabilities
- Utilize tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, AppDynamics, and ThousandEyes
- Identify availability, performance, and reliability risks
- Improve application and infrastructure visibility
Automation & Engineering
- Develop automation to reduce manual operational work
- Create scripting solutions using Python, Unix/Linux Shell, and other scripting tools
- Implement repeatable operational processes
- Improve deployment efficiency and operational consistency
- Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives
Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
- Support OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments
- Assist with cloud-based infrastructure deployments
- Participate in onboarding applications migrating to OCP
- Support containerized workloads and platform services
- Contribute to modernization and platform engineering initiatives
Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Lead and participate in Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis
- Document incident timelines and corrective actions
- Drive long-term solutions to recurring issues
- Partner with stakeholders to improve operational processes
